ZODEAK - Glass Art You Can Walk On

Ever wished you could adorn a floor area with glass mosaic art but had to reconsider because of the perceived fragility of glass? Or perhaps you wanted sturdy mosaic flooring in colors more brilliant and bright than natural marble stones.

Opus Italiano might be the solution to that. This fortified solid colored glass mosaic tile range is especially designed to be used on high foot traffic area flooring, indoors as well as outdoors.
Opus is basically Venetian enamel mosaic with smooth beveled surface, available in a range of bright, pastel as well as neutral color palettes.

Around the mid of last year, 2018, we collaborated with a Dutch design firm to create the Zodeak Opus medallion. We wanted to create a truly unique and spectacular art-piece using Opus mosaic and the result was stunning. The Zodeak medallion exceeded expectations. 

It features a clock face with astrological signs handcrafted by the MEC artisans. So far we have produced it in 4 different color schemes including the brown & beige one shown here.
