Cody Walker Unveils a Mosaic Portrait of his Late Brother, Paul Walker

A picture is worth a thousand words. Well, how about a picture that was made using a thousand tiles. The black & white mosaic mural was a beautiful tribute to the departed Fast & Furious franchise actor.

When actor Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash about 18 months ago, this world lost a talented actor and the grief-stricken fans said goodbye their idol. However, what the Walker family lost was more than just that, they bid the final farewell to a son, brother, father and above all a loved one.

Last month, on Sunday 12th April, Cody Walker the 26 year old brother of the late actor unveiled a stunning mosaic portrait of Paul Walker in Melbourne, Australia. Cody acted as a double for his older brother’s character in the highly-anticipated Furious 7 movie, the seventh film of the Fast & Furious franchise. Previous to this acting job, Cody Walker had worked as a paramedic the younger handsome sibling has also been assuming the role and duties of Paul’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide’s Brand Manager.

The portrait unveiling was a part of movie promotion and tribute to Paul Walker in Australia. Walker, stood proud beside the smiling portrait as the people and fans started pouring in through the doors of United Cinema in Craigieburn.

Cody has previously acknowledged to being uneasy about acting as a double, for enabling the movie to be completed, due to the fact that he had no previous acting experience. The movie used special technological techniques to generate Paul face on the bodies of his doubles (played by Cody and Caleb Walker). In a talk with Daily Mail Australia, he said, “'I was honored to be able to finish it for him, but more than anything it served as a really special time for Caleb and I to bond when we really needed it most.”

Cody’s stance is that he believes that his famous brother would have wanted him and Caleb to help complete one last movie of the series, mostly because of the later actor’s special friendship and bond with the fellow actor Vin Diesel. He said in a statement to Sydney Morning Herald: “He'd been working with the majority of these people – it's 15 years now – but 13, 14 years at the time of his passing. Of course, he'd want to see it finished.” Upon being asked if he plans to pursue the acting career further, he indicated that he is not really fond of that question.

In the movie that’s being currently screened worldwide, Brian O’Connor, Paul’s character appear for the last time. The movie clearly indicates that the fans won’t be seeing anymore of Brian in the potential sequels.
